Kirby-Le-Soken
The Ship is situated on what is known to us locals as the lower road. (Walton Road), which leads to Walton-On-Naze and Frinton-On-Sea. The opposite direction out of the village heads back towards Thorpe-Le-Soken and Beaumont. Our beautiful little village is dotted with lovely coastal walks around the back waters. So check the tides for high water as it can get very muddy when the waters are low.
As you stroll, along the back waters you will see the very pretty Pilots Cottage dating back centuries.
The Back Waters
Delight in the view of the back waters, with dips and turns where dogs love to play. Watch out for the muddy water pools, follow the paths.
